Malia Leilani Meenderman, our Principal Broker, is also an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). Receiving this designation through the National Association of Realtors (NAR) gives her more insight and expertise in serving Buyers in a transaction. The representaion of Buyers is a little talked about but very important aspect in any real estate transaction. Many times indiviadual searching for a home begining talking to the reeal estate agent that has the property listed for sale. This agent represents the interests of the seller not of the buyer, so inherently a conflict of interest can form. Buyers should really obtain their own representation to be assured that they are doing all that they can to have a fair and equitable transaction.
